Gerontology Network is a not-for-profit organization that has been serving older adults and caregivers in West Michigan since 1979. In 2011, our Older Adult Volunteer Programs which include the Traveling Grannies/Grandpas Program, the Senior Companion Program, and the Foster Grandparent Program had their transportation dollars cut. Transportation dollars are needed to transport our senior volunteers to their work sites which are schools, congregate meal sites, and home placements. Please shop our online event beginning December 7, 2011-December 31, 2012 to support the transportation needs of Gerontology Network's Older Adult Volunteer Programs.
